The Google Era

The other day I realized we are currently living in the Google era. After all, what doesn't Google own, or do, or provide? From maps to driving directions, images to videos, and, of course, e-mail, what is left for Google to do? The company constantly evolves and revolutionizes the way we learn, find information, and reach new destinations. Thanks to Google and their charismatic logos we celebrate different occasions or holidays; the company also helps us translate texts from English to dozens of languages, and most importantly, hosts our blogs. It is the Google era indeed, and I would like to believe, we -- the users -- gain the most from this online revolution.

Journeys

We all have goals, objectives, missions -- whether we realize it or not -- we are constantly aiming toward an end, whatever it might be. But sometimes, if not, almost every time, we never reach what we originally envisioned as our final destination. Every morning presents us with a different reality and every sunset a new side road toward an end. These are the changes that shape and influence our journeys. We must have aims. As human beings we need a mission; reasons to wake up and run on autumn days. However, given that life is full of surprises, we should not be afraid of changing our goals, objectives, and missions as life presents new realities.

Tears of the Heart

Sometimes releasing a drop of saline, watery liquid from the corner of our eyes might serve as an excellent therapy to alleviate the pain of the heart. As human beings sometimes we suffer and a minute of our lives is necessary to simply stop, think, and release those tears that  serve as the realization of our pain. Tears are part of life's long journey; they are the physical demonstration of growth and maturity. The more we suffer, the more we learn and grow, and the more tears we dry out along the way.

Summer iPod

This summer has been an interesting season for new tunes.

I started my summer playlist feeling African with Shakira's "Waka Waka" and Knaan's "Waving Flags." Later, I attempted to drive solo with Jason Derulo's "Riding Solo;" and I liked it a lot with Enrique Iglesias' "I Like It." I mellowed down with Latin Jazz by Juan Luis Guerra and his "Caribbean Blues." And, of course, although not a summer hit, it is always great to listen to Cold Play's "Yellow."

Random

After a break from this fascinating blogging world, I am back. Random, huh? Well, isn't life random? Everyday is a new adventure and although the journey might take us somewhere today, it might take us back to the same waiting spot tomorrow. Today my journey has taken me back this old, sweet corner of my life. I am ready to tell and share my summer thoughts with the world. I hope you are ready read.
