What a long, enriching, exciting summer this has been. One that started in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, continued in Champaign, Illinois, took me back to Massachusetts, and will soon end when I return to school in Charlottesville, Virginia.
For the moment I am spending a week with my parents in the Bay State. Even though I will be 20 in 11 days, they still ask me to do things around the house. To be honest, I do not mind.
Today they have asked me to mow the lawn—I will do.
At least I will not be here for the winter when the command of cutting the grass becomes shoveling the snow.
