Oh beaches....
I was born on an island in the middle of the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic. Beaches, sun, and sand have always been part of my life. Now living in the American north, where snow, rain, and cold replace Caribbean-like weather, I miss those famous Dominican beach days.
This summer afternoon—this time in Boston—I am going back to the beach. The culture is different, so is the weather and setting. However, the sand still invites me to a comfortable, summer afternoon nap. The water waves relax me as I read the lines of the book. The infinite ocean makes me dream, it inspires me to cross the borders and explore the world.
Oh beaches…they’re all so different…sources of invitations and inspirations that make them all the same.

You are a great writer! I found out about your blog from your cousin...
I love the beach too (I grew up in Tampa, FL). And it always amazes me how unique each beach is when I go places like Los Angeles or Oregon. It reminds me of my childhood but so completely different...
I really like your blog! I hope you find it fun. :)
