Back @ Home

Dear Jet Blue,

I know it is not your fault that a snow storm ruined my trip on Saturday, but thank you for bringing me home after cancelling my flight twice, and delaying it for two hours on Monday, as we waited for the flight crew to arrive to Richmond from New York City. I understand the snow storm screwed us all. Happy Christmas jetting to you.

After experiencing the consequences of the biggest December snow storm the northeast has seen in a while, I am finally at home in Massachusetts.  I am currently adjusting to the cold temperatures of the North, and of course, home.

Although I am extremely happy to be back at my house, in my own room, in a house with a fridge full of healthy, eatable food, it is taking me some time to readjust to my house. You see, I think it is simply normal to feel out of place, even in your own home, when you have been living somewhere else for four months.

I do prefer home than my apartment—especially because of the food. I am tired of eating fake cafeteria food, or simply food I attempt to cook and tastes disgusting.

Home will start to feel like home again as my family and I put up the Christmas tree, my grandma arrives from New York to spend Christmas with us, and my sister comes home from school.

With 24 inches of snow on my lawn, the Christmas tree up, and my relatives coming over, home is starting to feel like home, and it is definitely starting to look a lot like Christmas.

Happy holidays everyone….

Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful time with your family. You truly deserve it, especially after all the frustrations brought upon by that awful snow storm. :)

Although, i've only flown once and it went smoothly, I can imagine the frustration of delayed flights and cancellations. Because airports are kinda boring :/ .......well,at least you are finally home!! happy holidays! and nice snowman?
